You are not broken — but you may be overwhelmed, anxious, or feeling stuck.

Welcome! I’m Rachel Meena. I’m a licensed clinical mental health counselor. I offer individual therapy to adults in person in Charlotte, NC and virtually to clients in North Carolina, South Carolina, Minnesota, and Massachusetts.

Many of my clients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of worry, self-criticism, intrusive thoughts, or compulsive behaviors that feel impossible to control. It’s exhausting to be on high alert all the time or to feel trapped by “what if” thinking.

Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), we slow down and get to know the different “parts” of you — the ones that overthink, the ones that carry fear, the ones that criticize, and the ones that push you toward rituals or avoidance. Instead of trying to silence these parts, we approach them with curiosity and compassion.

As it’s needed I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support deeper trauma healing, along with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) for effective OCD treatment.

As you build a kinder relationship with yourself, anxiety loses its constant grip, and the urge to do compulsions begins to ease. IFS helps you respond to life with more clarity, confidence, and a sense of freedom you may not have felt in years.

Let’s work together to help you feel more like yourself again — and more at home in your life.

Testimonials

“Rachel is an amazing clinician, great listener, and wonderful human. Rachel is fantastic at seeing beyond the symptoms you're presenting with and seeing you, the person, in all your complexity. Rachel is highly skilled in treating anxiety and OCD.”

— Kaci Pennington, LCMHCA, NCC, MA, CTP

"Working with Rachel was transformative for my anxiety and OCD. My work with her resulted in achieving goals and life milestones I've long avoided due to anxiety and fear of the unknown. She helped me through this transitional time and to see my strength and ability to have the life I wanted despite the presence of anxiety. Her expertise in mindfulness, internal family systems, and genuine sense of humor make her a wonderful therapist and I'm so grateful for our work together".
